Blind Taste-Test

 Hello guys! Today I am going to do the blind taste-test with my friend Dwane!

Aim: To taste foods that are sweet, bitter, sour or salty

Equipment:

1. Samples 1-9

2. Blindfold Glasses

3. Recording Chart

4. Ice Cream Stick Taster

Method:

1. Get Safety Glasses And Make A Blindfold.

2. Set up your chart and make sure that the person you are working with knows where to record your responses.

3. Using an ice-cream stick you will dip it into the Sample.  Once Sample is on the stick you will taste it and tell your partner your response.

4. There will be 2 answers.

5. At taste test 1 you need to hold your nose.

Answer 1. Is it sweet, salty, bitter or sour. Record it.

Answer 2. What do you think it is. Record it.

6. Repeat this for the next samples but you will only need to use your ice cream stick taster for samples 1-4.

Mirror Image

 Hello guys! Today I will be talking about the story "Mirror Image", I will be describing what was similar to the people that was in that story, what was different and why the Mirror Image was the suitable title. Let's get started!

In the story the similar thing was they wanted to stop the apartheid and have fairness to the black people on South Africa so there wouldn't be superior races on America. The thing that was different in the story was Zodwa wanted the Springbok to be beaten while Meggie wanted to stop the apartheid. Why Mirror Image is a suitable title is because it talks about both of the wanting peace which suits the Mirror Image on the title because when you look on your mirror it does the movement you do but for Zodwa and Meggie it's their feelings like they are the same person doing the same movement but it's about their wanting.

Why Is Being "Cybersmart" Important To Our Kura And Our Learning

 Hello Guys! Today I am going to show you why being Cybersmart Important!

Being Cybersmart is important because if you don't know how devices works then you wouldn't know how to hold it properly protect it properly or use it properly and if you know how to use it then you know how to fix it easily with just a glance and you'd know how most or all of the shortcuts work and knowing what they do! Plus knowing how devices work you can know what your extensions do! It helps on your learning if you know how all of the buttons work so you wouldn't need to have a problem about how those buttons work. If you don't know how most of the buttons work it's ok you can ask someone that is an expert and they can help you with everything you need to know about your device. Things About Music Class

 In Music Class I have enjoyed playing the instruments I never got to play before and learning the notes which I didn't know the name of. I have learnt genres that were popular and new, the notes for the instruments and Music I haven't heard of before. My favourite genres are Rock, Rap, Alternative and Indie because they sound amazing than other genres I know and sounds like, my favourite song is Heatwaves because it has nice music and chorus and my favourite band is Maroon 5 because they have cool sounds and their songs are good even if I said that Heatwaves was my favourite music and it isn't sung by Maroon 5 does not mean it's not my favourite band that sang my favourite song! I enjoy playing piano because it has some interesting facts like it's from a two different families and those families are called Percussion and String which is a cool fact I didn't know about the piano until my teacher told me.

Why You Should Play Hockey

Hockey is a good game to play because playing it is like soccer like there’s a midfielder, defender, goalie and striker/attacker. Plus hockey could be hard to learn but once you know how it works you can be a good player and win a goal(depends) for your team! It feels good when you win but losing is good too which means your progressing and progressing until you can win against the team that beat you in hockey. Even if hockey is boring it's probably too easy or too hard you just gotta try your best even if you lose a lot of times because losing means your getting better and your improving but if you just keep winning it means you don't progress. So try playing with people that are challenging from the teams you have beaten and play hockey with them because those people could just be enough to defeat you and you can keep progressing again so you can be much much better than before and improve much faster rather than playing with the same team you keep beating.

It’s easy to play but you have to remember that you can’t use the back of your stick to hit the ball. You can only hit the ball at the front side of you stick. It’s easy to play hockey if you know how to play properly but if you don’t know how to play it’s okay because you can learn from your team. Here is how to play hockey(from what I think): So you got the Defender, Goalie, Midfielder, Left Striker, Right Striker and Middle Striker you play paper scissors rock between the Middle Strikers and whoever wins get the ball you can only move when the enemy passes the ball or if you pass the ball the enemy moves. The defender can only go to the half of the field to the goalie and the midfielder can go anywhere(I think so?). The striker can go anywhere too but not on the goalie's semicircle. Strikers/Midfielder can only goal by being inside the semicircle not outside it the same as how the enemy does too!

Playing hockey is fun because you can learn easily by asking one of your team(s) or coach how to play and they can explain how you play it so you can know how play it and how the game works. Hockey looks easy but it isn't because you just started playing hockey you need to know how the game works so it would make more sense to you or it wouldn't make sense for you. If hockey is too hard it's not because you're bad at that sport it just means your getting better at it and never give up until you win and making yourself proud because you've beaten that team wit your team using teamwork because without teamwork it would be hard for you and your team to cooperate and you won't be friends with them.

Hockey is fun because it’s safe unless you got hit in the head. Like I said it’s like playing soccer but with a stick because it’s how the game works plus you don’t need your kicking skills for hockey because you just need your hitting skills and moving the ball skills. Even without those skills it’s just fun that you need because you don’t need to be great at it because it’s just your fun is what’s keeping you motivated to love that sport. Playing hockey can make you have friends because your team could be different people. No matter how bad or good you are it's just hockey there's nothing special on it but what makes it special is you trying your best and cooperating with your team and it would be easier for you guys to win if you cooperate with the people your team with.

DisneyLand Writing

You should try having a Disneyland tickets because you can have fun playing those cool rides and those games. You might even meet  your favourite DisneyLand characters. You can get to have fun laugh and smile because you liked being on that place. Who knows what fun stuff you could do? Your gonna be even more happy if you go to DisneyLand with family and friends because DisneyLand will make you more happy by getting to try those cool games and you trying to win teddy bears and more prizes. It's sad if you were lonely but if your in DisneyLand it will make you feel a bit better. It's still fun with you winning a whole lot of prizes but you winning prizes with friends? You having fun with your family and friends in DisneyLand is your best prize of all of the prizes you won so far.

It’s good to try out new things on DisneyLand because playing with your friends and family is fun! Without them you’re lonely but with them you get to have fun do the things you love to do like play on the games in DisneyLand. It’s important to spend time with them because you can play those shooting stuff and ride a ferris wheel which is cool o trying out the roller coaster which is scary at the start but fun when you get used to going to ride the roller coaster. You might be scared when you go to DisneyLand because there is a lot of people but when you play longer with yourself, friends and family you get happy and get to have fun with them even if it was just a short time. but that fun memory will stay in there for a long time. So it's fun to go to DisneyLand with your family and friends because they are the only ones who can make you happy even when your in the saddest because they are there for you to protect you. That's why DisneyLand can make you happy to the happiest  because with friends and family they are always with you wherever you go that's why DisneyLand is fun.

DisneyLand is so amazing like you can get to eat yummy desserts, Play games, Win cool stuff and riding those scary but amazing Roller Coasters or that thing that goes up and down. Maybe you could bring your friends, family and cousins because without them you’d be lonely. So it’s great to spend some time on the outside world for a while. DisneyLand is a good place even when your lonely because while your alone you get to do fun stuff to take your pain away so it's good to spend some alone time aswell so you can relax because of your busy day land make all your holiday count every second to every day. DisneyLand can help your frown to a smile because it's where fun is because without your friends or family DisneyLand is where to go because it will help your broken and lonely are to happy one. Bring your friends and family to DisneyLand because it will make you more happy while your with them.

Trying DisneyLand is fun because you’ll only be on the inside world where it’s boring. But on the outside world it’s fun and you get to have new friends, meet with your friends and play with them on the DisneyLand even if it’s just for a short time. That’s why you need to go to the outside world because that’s where you’re fun is where you're with your family and friends and other people you love because you want to spend time because without them there's no fun you're the only one who doesn't feel friendship and familyship because you're not with them and you get lonelier and lonelier. That's why you could have more fun with other people you know or love. Your gonna get more friends by being on the outside world and getting to have fun because you care about them and they care about you plus DisneyLand gives you more fun because your spending time with friends and family. Without with friends and family your friendship breaks apart which is sad but you can rebuild it by making new friends or playing with your old friends by going to DisneyLand!

Year 7-8 Students Should Be Allowed To Have Phones At School

 I disagree because if they were to use phones they would use it on lunch breaks non-stop. It's bad to use phones because you never know what stuff they would do. The parents in there wouldn't let their kids go to that school because it's bad for them because they won't learn anything good but just doing stuff at their phones. It's good to have phones for parents to call but after that they go do what they want to do at their phones. There's lots of mysterious things kids do with phones but they play too much in it and what's the point of using phones if it's not gonna teach kids anything but games and watching random stuff. So I disagree that Year 7-8 should have phones because their school would only represent phones.
