Hello guys! Today I am going to be answering questions from the story "Women's Suffrage Petition" let's get started!
What year did the Maori men get the vote? The Maori men got to vote on 1867.
Why did most people think women should not vote? They needed to stay home, cook, keep the house clean and bring up the children.
What does phrase "Drinking their wages" mean? To probably stop drinking and buy a lot of alcohol so they wouldn't waste money I think?
How did the WCTU help the poor? They visited hospitals, prisons, set up soup kitchens and ET Cetera
What was the main form of the women used to change the law? The petition because lot's of women signatures were there
Why is Kate Sheppard on our $10 dollar note? It's because of her Determination and Hard Work!
